well, i had quite a nice long nap from 5pm till 12am, so feeling pretty refreshed now, if a lil' hungry. maybe i'll go make some noodles (shaddup wardi :-P)
finally managed to contact my dad. guess what? it's sunday morning in houston and he's out golfing. *rolls eyes* businessmen. ; )
yeah, so hopefully i'll be getting some cash wired over sometime soon.
well, today (or yesterday, rather) wasn't all that great. here's a list of my pet peeves for the day:
1. the title (that thing up that that's supposed to say :: Light The Dark ::) somehow moved itself behind the main div and i can't figure out how to move it back. i think i remember there being a code to make a div be the one on the top, but can't for the life of me remember what it is. anyone who knows, please tell me. pleeeeeeeeeeaaase. thanks.
2. i was trying so hard to figure it out that i forgot about lunch and only made it down to the dining hall at 1245, when the ladies were cleaning up. so all i managed to grab before they kept everything was this pathetic excuse of a pasta. yech.
3. i realised i didn't have any dollar coins to do laundry. and i don't really have much (any) clothes left. luckily, pris came to my rescue, so all's good. thanks girl. : )
4. bv at forums.starwars.com got banned. i don't really know him very well, but he seemed like quite a nice guy. i'm not one to question the modsquad's decisions, but it still is kinda unsettling. anyhoo it got reduced from a pban to a 3 month tempban. so that's good.
in related news, jedi-mmm got pbanned. finally. he/she was really starting to get on my nerves. i guess it's kinda evil thinking that way, but meh.
5. once again, i got next to nothing done on the weekend. nothing new 'bout that, though.
alrighty then, enough of ranting. those of you who're located way over here in clayton, you may like to know that sam has a great deal for you. we're going to watch matrix reloaded on may 17th at 4.45pm, and we're only charging $4.50 for it. you heard right. $4.50 vs $11. that's quite a difference. the only catch: you have to be a monash clayton student and/or a sam member. simple as that. unfortunately, this offer is not open to non-clayton non-members. sorry. :-/
